i've been having trouble getting things (walls to slabs for example) to heal in the sketch renderer. The renderer actually calls them out separately when other 3d views seem to be healing them properly. (see attached image)i've tried just using a slab and wall as a test, setting the materials and line weights the same, and it still renders them differently. anyone know what property is the key in to join these elements in 3d?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
stefan
ps using AC9 on a mac

The big questions are
A) If they heal in elevation?
B) If the top of the slab meets the bottom of the wall?
C) Are the wall surface and the slab edge the same material?

No... it looks like it should be working perfectly.

It is always nice to see important features like this getting better over the years. The original sketch renderer was pretty worthless, but was very promising nevertheless. It is hugely improved since then.TomWaltz wrote:hmmm tried the same file in ac10 (i've got a demo) and it works fine...just checked and my ac9 was not the most recent version. i've got 2219 downloading now, hopefully it'll clear it up. if not i'll just stop wining and wait for my ac10 keys to get here. thanks for the help.
