i have archicad 10 and i want to know can i add special materials ?

Yes.

There is no "new material" command. You can only duplicate an existing material and modify the copy.

Can you be more specific, since material making is complex.
How "Special" do these new materials need to be?
Have you reviewed the LightWorks Material Archive" contained in Archicad?
