In Lightworks engine, is there a way to imitate Radiosity??.
Can any senior member tell us were to find a good render from archicad/lightworks.... "out of the box"? or post a good one?... just to see how good a lighworks render can be...
thanks

Please refer to the excelent dwight atkinsons' book "lightworks in archicad". Also search for radiosity on the search.....
The book summary from "objects on line" on the web has nice examples of his work.
There's also an excelent dvd tutorial from graphisoft australia

If I recall correctly Dwight calls it "fakiosity".

But of course, i did not "coin" the phrase. "Fakiosity" has long been the derisive term used by radiosity afischionados to ridicule our meagre raytracing attempts to fill shadows with color like the radiositites do. In a fraction of the rendering time that they take. Too bad for them.

Fakiosity is most clearly shown in my book by asuccessful approximation of a Cinema 4D radiosity rendering [45 min] in just two minutes using a built-in sun and three carefully-placed general light sources in LightWorks.

Best wishes from Miami where we have a wonderful seminar planned for today. And also looking forward to the Eindhoven seminar May 02. Not too late to contact KUBUS for a seat. I am learning some good phrases for that day: "klept van de molen" is a good one, i think.
