[PSB = Problem Solving Brainstorm]
-- Clear Cutting Planes?
-- filter elements in 3D??
-- errant marquee or selection?
-- change camera position slightly??
-- rebuild the view by closing the 3D window entirely?
-- try internal engine vs lightworks engine??
-- show us OpenGL view..... to compare.

ok so i am still new to rendering so i hope i have done this right. I have added another view which previously was ok but now does the same thing. I have deleted both cameras and tried again. I have moved them and also played around with the settings of the 3d window and the phot rendering settings. i tried the internal engine with no luck. i am not sure if it has to do with the placement of the camera as i always have to zoom out and that to look at the whole model (it just zooms into the edge).
i dont know what a cutting plane really is and i fairly sure i havent put any in.
As for the filter elements its set to inside to marquee, and trim to marquee is ticked.stories in 3D is infinite.
i was using the marquee tool and also tried selecting the model neither helped.
I have rebuilt the model many times no help.

since you are also new to our forum, you'll get better advice using your signature [the message you place at the bottom of each posting - in your profile] to describe your Archicad version and hardware configuration.
Some older builds of Archicad had a "Clipping Plane of Death" that cut off the foreground of a scene. Search the forum for that term to get the solution.

Quite funny I just had to maximise the screen then it just worked. Feel a little stupid hehe. Oh well I am still learning.
