Allow Copy/Paste Text when saving PDF files via Print Dialog Box

Our typical workflow of saving off PDF files from Layouts involves selecting the layout (or multiple layouts) from the navigator, hitting CMD+P or File->Print, and then using the 'PDF' button at the bottom left of the window. In the next step, we typically create a new folder with today's date and provide a file name for the said PDF. However, we cannot use the keyboard shortcuts CMD+C or CMD+V to copy and paste the text. Instead, we have to right-click the text and select Copy/Paste. Is there a reason that keyboard shortcuts are disabled when saving files?

We would love the ability to keep using keyboard shortcuts on the save file window. Thank You.

Any reason you are not using the publisher sets?

Yes, multiple reasons why we avoid publisher sets:

1. Publisher sets require you to reserve them in order to change the save directory, which creates a problem when multiple people are working on the same project and trying to save off pdf files at once. It also creates one additional step of creating a folder with today's date, then specifying that folder in publisher location, and then finally hitting publish. We find it faster to do it using CMD+P window.

2. Publisher sets don't give us scaling ability - For instance, sometimes we're working on 24x36 layouts, but want to save off a PDF at 50% scale.

3. We find it faster to just hold CMD and then select the layouts we want to include in our PDF, than having to reorganizing them under Publishing Sets.

Do all of these make sense? Is there a better workflow recommendation we should be looking at?
