Design options - duplicate selected elements

It would be good if there was an option to duplicate only selected elements to different option. 

The current workflow is select elements>copy elements>relink design option which feels a bit clunky.

It's not a huge difference but it would feel a lot more intuitive.

I read your request yesterday, and it got me thinking about how this could be handled effectively—it’s always been frustrating for me, too, that there’s no simple solution.

Having spent months developing various add-ins and automations, finding a solution for this particular problem turned out to be a breeze. I created a Python script that runs via Tapir (with the help of AI—I’m an architect, not a programmer!).

Here’s what the program can do:
1. Copy or move elements into selected Design Options.


2. Display selected elements in a matrix table, showing where exact matches exist (i.e., elements with identical locations and properties). Within this table, you can add or remove elements from any Design Option or the Main Model.

I’ve uploaded it to my GitHub page. I hope I’ve set it up correctly—this is the first program I’ve ever shared!
