Door Swing Direction

Please add the option of flipping the door swing direction, while maintaining the door leaf location within the wall. These doors are used quite often and are very common among various providers. There is of course always a workaround, but it is super annoying and could be solved so easily within the tool itself. The workaround also messes up the schedules and other information within the project.

I don't understand.

This image is what you want it to be?

So when the door is closed, the door leaf will be outside of the frame.

The door now swings open through the entire frame & smashes into the frame when the door is open at 90°.

Or are you wanting a double action saloon style door (or restaurant kitchen door) that swings both in and out?

The image above is a work around to have the desired result - Clear opening with a frame + second wall with frameless door within the clear opening.

These currently unfortunately can't be created or represented by the standard door tools.

That is the type of detail we need for wishes - thanks.

I don't use the default Graphisoft doors so I am not familiar with all of the settings.

But this is just the default hinged door.

Your screenshot led me to a possible solution - haven't looked too much into the "casing" options as of yet. 

   

Although the line between casing and frame will still be visible.

Now thinking of it, a rebate within the door leaf - not only the frame - would be interesting
