Overhaul of indexes and schedules

I'm hoping i'm not alone in coming up against limitations in Archicad schedules and indexes. Specifically, several barriers i keep coming across:

The schedule parameters are locked down too far in my opinion, limiting access to information we know is present in the model database but schedules or indexes are not able to fully access. i.e. I want to filter my target selection for a drawing issue by sub-set folder but this is only available in a schedule and the items i want to then pick up in a schedule are only available in an index. The schedule and index parameters could do with being widened at the very least to allow access to allow a greater range of possibilities to scheduling

Matrix schedules - i've lost count of how many conversations i've had with GS about the ability to have a matrix schedule, which i would be desperate for in so many instances - ironmongery schedules, decoration schedules,

Issue sheets - please give us a decent issue sheet capacity. It's just a poor afterthought at the moment Ideally, this would be able to use a matrix schedule for drawing, ,issue recipient and date but at the moment it's like banging your head against the wall when the 'solution' is to export to excel. If it's got too many stages - people won't do it. It's killing my Office standards process as people won't do it in a rush. It's so frustrating when the information is fundamentally there but you can't access it.

Apparently this would need new coding for the schedule elements of the programme. But - is really an essential to good documentation and dare i whisper it - I'm pretty certain schedules is an area Revit had far better sorted over 10 years ago...
