Schedule Total Value as a Property

You have a list of zones in a schedule and at the bottom you have a total sum of the zone areas. It would great if you could define that sum as a new expression based property and use it eg. in different schedule. Like in Excel.

It would be very useful to be able to take the value from a schedule (e.g. total sum) and map it to a property so that we can then use the property in calculation formulas with expression formulas.

Can you elaborate on the types of calculations you'd want to do with a total or grand total in a property? And where you'd use it? Or would the above wish cover these use cases?

Hi James,

I think both requests address the same problem: the ability to make more calculations with the values ​​resulting from the schedule. I think the option in which a resulting value (usually the total sum but not necessarily only that) can be taken and assigned to a property (so that it can later be manipulated with expressions) is more versatile.
One scenario would be that, by collecting these values ​​from several schedules, I could assign unit prices to those quantities and after summing them and add some coefficients I could obtain the total value of the house. This would be great info to display!
Another use would be the ability to calculate the percentage of land occupation or the land use coefficient. Or any other complex calculations, so that they can be made directly inside Archicad, without having to be taken out to Excel and brought back.
In conclusion, the two requests can be merged if that helps.
