Show selection in 3D

Problem: When selecting something in 2D and clicking "Show selection in 3D" a 3D window opens with only the selected elements in the 3D space but the elements are almost always out of view.

Solution: When clicking "show selection in 3D" open a 3D window AND zoom to selection.

So, are you still wishing for an automatic zoom to selection in 3D or a 'Show and zoom to selection in 3D' option?

If so I will eave the wish open.
