I'd say pitch it to the Wishlist. Seems like something that should be addressed. And to really get these wishes moving, I'll put in a plug for a wish for a Wishlist rework to get more of these "wishes" (bugs) addressed.

@Velocipede2022 Welcome new Archicad user! You are not alone in your flabbergastion. I think these are great ideas. There are many of us excited for Graphisoft to make updates to the software to make it more intuitive and functional. I would suggest either posting your ideas...
