Thanks Barry. I came up with an easy way after all. If I use the same built in ridge tile object that I'm using to cap my roof ridges, I can just convert it to a morph, and then it rotates freely in every direction. I don't use morphs very often so it didn't occur to me, but...

This sounds promising, but I have no idea where in the GDL editor to add that. I don't see anything in there currently for GLOB_VIEW_TYPE, so I think I'd have to add that into the script?
