As mentioned in my response above: I was able to open the file on an older system, I cleaned up open views and tabs as well as some library's no longer in use. I saved it as a new solo project and now it opens on macOS 26.4 with no errors. Not a solution to the apparent bug ...

I tried open & repair but was not offered to open with one tab, it prompted me to 'save as…' but it still crashed during opening.The problem seems to be some combination of macOS 26.4 and some error dialog that fails to materialize during startup. The file works on macOS 15....
