I'm looking for a setting to turn off the constant updates to all the
view windows when working in the documentation side of things. For
example, I have a sheet where I simply have several standard residential
details that I include in my standard se...
My Archicad 26 USA has got some problems! I restarted my computer
yesterday. Today it's doing what I'm showing in the video. This is
becoming more and more common. Annoyingly long delays between keystrokes
and mouse clicks and menu choices, etc. If I...
First thing this morning I restarted my computer because Windows, in all
its infinite wisdom, updated my machine and forced a reboot overnight.
So after a reboot first thing, I fire up AC26 and open my working file
and I get issues right away, as see...

Ricardo, thank you for that information. I'll look into it for the
details I never adjust. But I still don't understand why Archicad must
update a section cut if I only added 2D linework to the floorplan. It's
terribly unnecessary, gobbles resources, ...
Thank you Botonis. And thank you for that link. I'm clearing out those
old files and I'll see if that makes a difference. I still had AC18 (and
other versions) files in those folders! Hopefully that will help.
Thank you for the ideas. I just checked my video card drivers and they
are up to date. And yes, I'm thinking this is all related. But it's not
a cheap video card, so I don't want to replace it to find it's not the
problem. I'm just hoping someone her...
Thank you all for the input. I'll look into that 'stored in memory'
idea. Yes, the Favorites list is always slow to load - this particular
time had a 'common-to-slightly-slower' response than it normally does in
everyday work. And I use my favorites ...
