thanks for the links.its a pitty that the normal roof doesnt accept negative angle... as it would solve all of the issues. I cant help believe its just one variable somewhere in the code that they just need to switch 

thank you for answering the question in depth.I was not sure if there was something I Was missing as it appeared as if the all 4 roof slabs were created as single object, not 4 separate ones.this helps a lot. thank you!
