Using AI Desktop in Archicad with local MCP server

Hello.

I'm curious, who among you uses Tapir Add-on and MCP server and AI Desktop (Claude)? The setup is very easy, the operation is interesting. What are your experiences, what have you managed to do for you in Archicad so far, and what haven't you? What commands do you use?

Hi @vtomaz I tried two exercises with meshes.

1. Merging meshes after the DWG import when we used the 3D faces to Archicad Mesh Function (merge DWG into Archicad file).

 

This Function makes individual meshes, one 3D face into one mesh.

Then asked Claude through TAPIR Add-on to merge them:

And it worked well.

2. the other was to make a mesh using DWG export from a GIS map. The task was to simplify the contour lines (with making minimum 2 m long segments) from the DWG and make a mesh.

The result was good too.
