BIMx Web on BIMx Model Transfer Service

Emoke Csikos

The BIMx Web application allows clients and other project stakeholders to view BIMx Hyper-models directly in their browsers, enjoying various intuitive, game-like navigation options. It lets you access the full content of any uploaded BIMx Hyper-model without having to install any application, browser plug-in or download the model itself locally. You can start navigating right in your browser window.

Please check our BIMx Web Help to get familiar with all the possibilities it offers. You can open the Hyper-model in BIMx Web by pressing the Play symbol in the middle of the preview image:

NOTE: Only Hyper-models can be viewed in BIMx Web. The obsolete 3D only models exported from Archicad 18 and earlier are not compatible with it. You can download these old files and open them in the desktop and mobile apps.

Access the Content

The content of the Hyper-model can be opened from the Hyper-model Index on the left side. You can select any 3D model or 2D layout in the index and you can view any of these by a double-click on any view or by clicking on its preview image with "Click to View".

Embed Hyper-model

You can embed your company’s Hyper-models into any website by copying the specific HTML code snippet from the “Embed Hyper-model” window and paste it into the code of your own website. If you don't want to allow externals to download the model, store it with private visibility. By embedding it, the model is available only for viewing.

This BIMx Model Transfer function appears below the preview of the Hyper-model if you are signed in with Graphisoft ID, and your company is entitled to the premium functions of the service (owns an active Subscription, or Forward Agreement, or Software Service Agreement (SSA)).
