If you’ve recently purchased cloud licenses for Graphisoft products like Archicad, BIMx, or BIMcloud, you’ll need a Graphisoft ID. This simple, free account is your single login for managing your cloud licenses and accessing all Graphisoft services and resources.
Here’s what users with cloud licenses need to know:
A Graphisoft ID (GSID) is your personal account for accessing all Graphisoft products and services:
Easy to set up—just use your email address to register.
Your digital “master key” for software, licenses, support, and learning.
To download products or updates from graphisoft.com, you are required to login with your Graphisoft ID.
Beginning with version 25, Archicad requires you to log in with your Graphisoft ID. When starting Archicad or DDScad for the very first time you will be prompted to log in with your Graphisoft ID.
Sign in to BIMx to view multiple BIMx models.
With a cloud-based subscription for BIMcloud SaaS or Archicad Collaborate, users and licenses are managed directly from your company account on the License Management portal—not in BIMcloud Manager. All company user groups and their members are automatically synced with BIMcloud SaaS. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) can be enabled for your Graphisoft ID, and users with MFA can access BIMcloud only through cloud licensing and modern authentication apps (Archicad 27+, DDScad 19+).
Use your Graphisoft ID to login to your BIMcloud SaaS Manager.
If you are an Administrator of your company account, you can create groups, invite users, and manage license assignments on the License Management Site. In Archicad Help you can find out more about the different types of Archicad Licenses.
BIMx by Graphisoft is a professional BIM project viewer and collaboration product featuring BIMx Hyper-model, a unique technology for integrated 2D & 3D building project navigation and easy access to embedded BIM data such as project&element information, interactive schedules, etc.
The BIMx Transfer Site is an online storage and sharing service for these models. By using your Graphisoft ID, you can securely upload models and share them with a simple web link.
At bimcomponents.com, you can find additional library parts for Archicad. To download, rate, or comment on objects, simply log in with your Graphisoft ID.
Access forum, ask and answer questions, interact with peers, participate in challenges, user programs, beta testing and technology preview on Graphisoft Community, use your Graphisoft ID to log in.
Enhance your skills by visiting Graphisoft Learn and logging in with your Graphisoft ID to access free or paid learning programs, certifications, and e-books.
Submit and follow the status of your support request or browse troubleshooting and workflow articles on the Graphisoft Support Site.
use your Graphisoft ID to log in.
If you don't have a Graphisoft ID yet, you can create a new one using your email address here.
Note: If you have an existing account to myarchicad, BIMx Model Transfer site, BIMcomponents, or Graphisoft.com, Graphisoft Community or Graphisoft Learn, you already have a Graphisoft ID.
A Graphisoft ID is a personal account created by an individual with their email and password, used to access Graphisoft services and manage personal licenses. In contrast, a company account represents a business entity and is automatically created when a company-related purchase is made. The company account is managed by an administrator (initially the person who made the purchase) who can invite members and assign subscriptions. The administrator (or admin) and members must have their own Graphisoft IDs to access company resources.
With the company account, Graphisoft customers are entitled to certain online resources that belong to the company, not the individual user. For example, Archicad licenses (represented by soft/hardware protection keys or cloud-based licenses) are always associated with a company, not an individual.

There are four user roles: Administrator (or Admin), Contract Manager, Full Member and Guest Member.
The first person to create the company account becomes the administrator, but this role can be transferred to another member. A company always has one administrator and any number of members. The administrator of that account will also be the BIMcloud SaaS admin.
By default, the person who buys a subscription is the contract manager (and also Administrator if it’s their first purchase).
The administrator of the Graphisoft ID company can initiate the contract manager change through the company portal.
Only the contract manager can manage subscription changes.
Guest members can access another company's BIMcloud SaaS with the portable licensing feature, but can not use the licenses of the host company.
