Scroll zoom in web version..when is it going to work intuitively?

Hi,
I want our client to use the web version from sheer simplicity but the scroll zoom does not behave the way a user expects. The closer I get the more srolling I need to do and it stops finally... It has been like this all the way. Only me?

I couldn't figure out what you meant by "scroll zoom" but then I realised you mean in the 2D view.
It is a little off.
The zoom percentage increases much quicker as you get closer, so maybe they are just trying to compensate for this by slowing the zoom down - but that makes no sense - as the percentage increases faster you would expect the zoom to get faster too.
I guess there has to be arbitrary limits to min and max zoom.

I wish the 3D mouse view had an 'invert' direction option.
Using the joystick you drag left to move left.
Using just the mouse you drag right to look left.
That feels just totally wrong.

Yes 2D...sorry forgot to mention that. I deem it unusable IRL. If I showed this to a client they would think I'm really stupid... I want it to work properly with the web version. I raised this earlier. GS asleep?

Hi Mats,

Why do you want to zoom into a 2D drawing more than its original 1:1 size at all?
You definitely will not get any more details unlike in a 3D model view.

Barry laid it out more to the point:
