Surface A =?

I use to know this, but can't find it in the current manual or help menu. It has been awhile since I set up my property objects and linked the calculated values from the database to the "A", "B" or "C" side and now I think I have a few that are incorrect. I think A is reference line, and C the other side, but I am not sure now. Any one know, and just out of curiosity where is this published? I remember finding it in an old manual, but they are a lot smaller than they use to be.

thanks
