Coloring objects.

Sometimes downloaded objects doesn't have an option to change the colors of specific elements. One solution is to choose Override Surface, but in most of the cases it just looks bad. In some cases (mostly skp) it is possible to convert object into morph, and theres an option to change element's color.

But is there any more solution to change the surfaces of objects or their appearance does not change? Some of them are really nice but I can't use them because I can't change their color.

This isn't very hard to do with a bit of GDL editing. You can add your own material parameters and just add them before the appropriate parts.

You can use the ! button to exclude bits of the script and look at the 3D preview to see which parts they are.
