I received a set of .dwg that were produced in Acrhicad, but the formatting of the dimensions and labels are not as clean as the paper plans i received. Is there a way to bring the dwg back into Archicad and achieve the proper formatting?

If you dont have access to the original file then ask the author to send you the .shx file that was exported with the dwg, this will will fix some formatting issues.

If you do, reexport the dwg from the original archicad file and retain the .shx file.

You will be asked for the .shx when opening/merging the file.
