And keep the "intelligence" like meta data in block's.
A contractor is asking for this information.
Anyone?
P.S. Does Revit have a similar function as space's for calculation and schedules?

The only thing that might work is an IFC exchange. I haven't tried IFC with Zones/Spaces yet but it is possible in theory.

I've exported IFC to AutoCAD architecture today and zone's are converted to Unattached Space's and I guess linking those to a schedule can't be that difficult.
The Space's contains all the basic dimensions and Zone number but no category information.
Mind you I'm not the sharpest AutoCad or IFC user, more of a blunt spoon🙂 , so this is a very crude test.
