Archicad to Nemetschek

I,m curious if Archicad projects can be imported in Nemetschek .
I need to import my archicad 3d buildings for thermal analisys in Nemetschek Energy evaluation .

Would saving it as an .ifc file do the trick?

If it is an Energy Application, then *.gbxml can also be considered as a format. ArchiCAD does not have this capability as default, but Encina has an Add-On for the task.
