BUG - DWG export and drawing placement

For ease of compositing, I sometimes overlay two views on a sheet (say a site drawing, and a vector map).

When exporting this to DWG, the placement of the drawings in DWG model space will produce a very unexpected result, for example placing the drawings quite far down and left of the origin point. (ie. entirely negative x and y coordinates)

This can be fixed by moving the left edge of one of the drawings just slightly to the right. This way the two drawings arent't completely overlapping. The drawing that reaches furthest to the left will be the one that gets placed closest to the DWG model space origin.

This is a bug, no?
Anyway, it would be much appreciated to have a more precise say in the way drawings will be placed in the DWG model space...
