I work for a firm that has ±65 seats of Archicad, all SSA seats (SAAS? not sure on the acronyms any more). Their design staff is about 1/3:2/3 that is actively contributing to the Archicad models, and will likely need to edit Cadimage doors/windows/coverings.
In the past, we have been able to maintain our Archicad NET key, with fewer Cadimage seats than Archicad seats. Now, after moving to cloud hosted Archicad licenses, we are getting notifications that licenses are not available, and people are running on a trial basis until we can sort this out.
...
Does anyone on the forum have any insight into how c/i licenses are allocated in the cloud pool? Is the only way to ensure a Junior Designer gets a c/i key when opening Archicad to have a 1:1 AC/CI ratio?
...
Does anyone on the forum have any contact at Central Innovation? It seems like any attempts to reach out to them are met with links to blog posts (that may or may not actually work) and canned AI responses.
...
Is Graphisoft ever going to develop a door and window tool that we can actually works, so we can eliminate c/i from our essential tool kit?

SaaS if you are on subscription, SSA if you did not take the conversion offer and paid for support and an upgrade to AC30 when it comes out.
I have not submitted that many tickets, but CI have generally been prompt to respond to support tickets on their website on the few that I have.
@Ci-Gareth is apparently on here. I think there was someone else from CI that was more active on here, but I cannot recall their name...

Just a quick correction, but:
- SSA - Support Service Agreement, technically subscriptions are also covering their own SSAs.
- SaaS - Software as a Service, like BIMcloud SaaS, where you don't have to host anything on your own, you just use and configure the product for your own needs.

we were able to get a call together and sort it out. It seems that the old licenses never transferred to teh cloud pool.
but they do have a new license system for cloud license services, we will not need to have a 1:1 ac to ci license ratio. The licenses are pulled on an "as-needed" basis, and if someone pulls a license but doesnt use it for 30 min, it goes back to the pool... So in an office of 100 people, we are likely only going to need 20-30 ci licenses

Thanks @Lingwisyer . Yes @ci-JoshOs is the other Ci staff member on here.
