Everytime I merge the DWG file with Archicad 23 I go through the process and nothing appears? I never used to have this problem but all of a sudden it has broken on me. Help!

This problem is also with other file merges

Things I have tried:

- I have tried multiple DWG files and I am getting the same result.

- I have made sure I have all layers turned on.

- Reinstalling Archicad

With drag&drop drawing import you'll only get model space content. Maybe you have paper space content only?
Or do you use the "Merge" dialog, which gives you further options?

EDIT:
I noticed that, as stated in the thread title, you can see the same merged drawing when imported into a worksheet? If so, then that's strange, as I never noticed such behavior.
As for 3D, as far as I can remember, merging a DWG doesn't import 3D data. If you'd like to import 3D content of a DWG file you'd have to import this file as a library object.

I seem to recall reading somewhere here that merged DWG files can be assigned to a renovation filter that is not visible (but maybe I am getting confused with some other issue).

Check that your renovation filters are set to not override or hide anything.

Yes, I remember too.
I think the change in Archicad 23 was that elements in the DWG file are assigned the "New" Renovation Status, which the default Renovation Filter in Archicad does not show "New" elements. So you had switch to a Renovation Filter that shows "New" elements and the contents of the DWG file should appear.
