ArchiCAD can use many colors for pens and fills, but if all of them are set to black, then the image will be B/W off course.
Is this an imported DWG/DGN file you are looking at?

thank you for this reply,
My question is how can we work between microstation and ArchiCAD? Regarding the layers and pen weight. and other attributes.

I suggest using DWG files in both ArchiCAD and Microstation. The DWG importer/exporter in ArchiCAD can be set up with templates and I suggest to start with some prepared DWG file (from Microstation, perhaps) that you can use to help setting up the ArchiCAD DWG template.
You can make a full mapping between fonts and layers for exchange with DWG.
ArchiCAD has a DGN reader, but I don't think the importer/exporter is as flexible as with DWG.
