Combing Property Groups in Schedules / Using Properties As Specs

Hi all,

Is there a way to group different Property Groups into one schedule.
Say for instance if you had 3 Property Group Names (All different) and 5 Properties (All the same) would there be a way to group them in one schedule?

I see what you mean.
No you can't schedule Property Groups - just the Properties.

Maybe you could make a Property in each group call "Property Group" with the correct value, so you can trick the schedule and use that Property as the heading?

Because you are listing both fields, your items become 'unique' so can not be merged together with "Merge Uniform Items".

However if you order the fields so that your Properties are first and you then turn on the option for "Show Headline" you can group them by those properties.

For example, in these images the 'Floor' is your 'Properties' and the 'Location' is your 'Property Group Names'.

When the "Show Headline" is off you will see this...

And when it is on you will see this...

Is that what you are trying to do?

Hi Barry

to a degree yes, I've attached a screenshot below to try and better explain what I'm trying to achieve (only an idea at the moment.)

I would like to schedule all three Property Groups in one schedule, Core, Finish and Colour, and list them via their property names.

So you will have a Core heading, then underneath that the Category, Reference No., Short Description etc subheading.
Then Finish heading and repeating the Category, Reference No., etc subheading.
