DOOR SCHEDULE ZONE INTO ZONE

How can I have a door in two zones in the door schedule, for instance

  • UNIT 1 (main zone)/
    • D01 MAIN ENTRY (zone into main zone)
    • D02 MASTER BEDROOM (zone into main zone)

etc.etc.

Thanks

Do you mean you have a 'Main' zone for the entire uni.

ten overlaying this you have an 'Entry' zone and a 'Bedroom' zone?

Archicad does not like overlapping zones very much.

Abutting zones are fine as you have 'From zone' and 'To zone' which is based on the door swing direction and 'Related zone' which I think is the zone the door object actually is placed in - I think that has to do with the placement (reveal) side of the door as you place it.

But as soon as you have overlapping zones, it all gets a little murky.

Thanks Barry but there is a way to organize the door by unit. I moved the UNIT Zone and just maintained the label as the unit description (to rid of that issue). Now, I want to have door by unit.

  • UNIT 01
    • D01 Entry
    • D02 Bedroom

Thanks
