I have found eDrawings to work well with DWG files. It will show model space and paper space sheets and is pretty quick. I would recommend it if what you are wanting to do is not too complicated. And it is free.

Installed eDrawings. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get the model space view to show in the Paperspace layout. If I click on Border in the layout navigator I just get an empty title block. when I click on the Drawing View 1 in the navigator, I see a huge outline and tiny title block, no drawing information.

Trying TrueView too.
A bit of rain over the weekend in Dubai, was there? (I saw some of the Rugby Sevens / mud wrestling)

Heh

A deluge by the local standards ... A lot of 7s "fans" (the ones that go there to be seen) did not show up.

You should have seen the flooded underpasses, and the lack of driving skills in the rain ...

It is actually raining now for more than a week. Very unusual for this time of year. Today is the first dry day since the Friday before last.

S2art,
I'm on a Mac so it's a little different but that looks right. and I would agree with your assumptions about the Border and Title Block. When I select the layouts the drawings show up correctly. Are you sure the dwg you are looking at is formatted correctly?

Welcome to our world. (Actually, things are starting to brighten up here, we had a very wet winter though).

Yep. Downloaded TrueView and all is good. It works well, The only problem is you have to register and now Autodesk know who I am Drawings seemed to be formatted correctly when viewed in TrueView so don't know what was up there.

Thanks for the tips, guys.
