I received a DWG, opened it up the usual way in AC, entered some text I wanted to be in the DWG, saved as DWG....
But my added text was exported as a DWG on its own...
Sow now I need two files, instead of one....
Can I not add information to a DWG, and then export the whole thing?

I would think that you would have to explode the DWG in Archicad rather than just placing it.
Then Edit the text and then 'save as' the whole thing as a new DWG.

That seems to be the answer. However, I was unable to explode the DWG when "Attach Xref" was used for import.
Using "Place External Drawing", however, was "explodable", and I could add text, and save it all together!
Thank you!
