Dimensions of IfcOpeningElements are out of control?

Hi, what is the reason that sometimes IfcOpenings (also from Doors and Windows) are getting ridiculous absurd dimensions?

This is a model I received ...

... and this is what I get with the same components.

I know for some time there is/was a problem for some time with automatically  created openings but it's new for me to see this also on doors and windows. So I am wondering what is causing this behaviour? Is it a setting or a hidden option that's triggering this effect?

Oh, so just don’t export them? Brilliant!

But seriously, I need the objects correct. It’s like having a table with a wobbly leg. Instead of fixing the leg, you suggest just using the table without it. Sure, it might stand for a moment, but it will never function properly unless the issue is resolved. I need the table complete and stable ...

It obviously depends on wall geometry and window 'dingsbums' (dunno the wording for this setting).

@JSN Could you share a screenshot of your window settings?

Yes that's what I meant. I don't know when and how and what ia triggering this effect. Maybe it's just a simple setting, but I don't know which one ...

Can anybody tell me more if this has been adressed or even resolved in AC28?
