Dimesion preference in window schedule

Is there a way to control the dimension preference with schedules. They seem to have a default of

3'

instead of what I like to have on my drawings

3'-0"

View set preference don't seem to work

also trying to type in these schedule fields is a nightmare with the field often resetting after typing entries or reacting slow

It's hard wired into Archicad and not changeable
