There is a new, free internet service that lets you send/email files beyond the current 3Mb size limit imposed by most ISP's.

http://www.dropload.com

Description:
What is Dropload?

Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address

I use Yahoo! Mail Plus.
The regular Yahoo! Mail has 250 MBs of storage space, and a maximum of 10 MBs of encoded message size (which means you can send about 7-7,5 MBs of data in one message).
Yahoo! Mail Plus costs 20 dollars a year. In that case, storage size is 2 GBs (yes, 2 gigabytes), max. message size is 20 MBs (14-15 MBs of data in one message), and you can use your own e-mail software, you don't have to use if through the web browser window.
I am very satisfied with it.
