Archicad give 4 Options to save to:
IFC 2X3 FILE
IFC 2X3 XML FILE
IFC 2X3 COMPRESSED FILE
IFC 2X3 XML COMPRESSED FILE

Which is the best option to save to, and I'm guessing that
the compressed files are for large project.

IFC 2X3 FILE

The compressed is for larger files, and XML is for use with other tools such as analysis and checking programs.
