I have problem in exporting IFC file from Archicad14 to Tekla Structures17.
Holes created in slab do not get recognized in Tekla.
I have attached an image showing actual slabs(grey ) in Archicad and Slabs in Tekla(green).
I have used default setting of Tekla translator in Archicad.
Does anyone know the solution for this problem?
Regards,
Ratna

Tekla Structures v17 have some limitations...
Info from help:
Openings, cuts and curved objects cannot be converted.
On v18 repaired only openings...
So loading a IFC model in Tekla is displayed correctly. But the holes, the final cut will disappear after the conversion.
Additionally, you have to consider the elements with slope and unusual! Most of them ends up in our trash ...
