Exporting to DWG from a hotlinked Layout Book file

Hi

I've set up my project according to the ArchiCAD white paper ie splitting the model from the layout book and then hotlinking views from the model to the layout book.

I've teamworked the project as well as it is a rather large project.

My problem is this:
When trying to export to a DWG file from within the the layout book, everything seems to go haywire. All of my translators stop working properly.

I've used the default ArchiCAD translators but they seem not to give the desired result and even mixing around trying get them to work isn't helping.

Scales seem to go out of sync; fills explode layer conversions are erratic.

I've tested the same translators on a solo project that isn't hotlinked and it exports perfectly.

Can anyone help?

Regards
Trevor

Dear Trevor,

My colleague informed me that many issues you had could probably be solved by setting the layer settings differently as he described. Related to the issues concerning objects and fills can you provide us an example file?

Thank you in advance,
Andor
