A picture would help illustrate what you are trying to do. If you wish to cut an object into pieces, you can use the Split tool (
OBJECTiVE > Tools > Split
. Or, if you are making beams to support a curved roof, you could use profiled beams made (or bundled) with OBJECTiVE and use the Bend tool to shape them to the roof (
OBJECTiVE > Tools > Bend
). It's difficult to be more specific without a clearer picture of your intentions.
