How to remove redundant xref files

I need to clean up the list of xref files in the xref manager but I can't remove or delete old files. Where can I find a remove/delete button? Thanks

I relink the ref but still there are old ref showing on the xref manager list….hmm where is the remove button?

I have never used XREFs but what does the 'Detach' or 'Unload' buttons do in the XREF Manager?
