IS Scheme Settings: "Available Parameters" grayed

What does it mean when a parameter is grayed out within the IS Scheme Settings "Fields" panel > Additional Parameters... > "Available Parameters" list (other than the item is not available)?

I was experimenting with getting the double doors to schedule properly (i.e. where each door panel width is one-half of A):
PARAMETERS ly_panel_a=a/2
But "ly_panel_a" is grayed out in the list. Is it because it is a function of "A" and simply cannot be scheduled due to the "interactive" feature?

Hey! I added some text to the "Name" field within the Parameters list of the Object, and now the parameter is black -- maybe that's all that was missing???

Makes as much sense as anything else.

I was wondering if there was a LOCK command anywhere in the script that was preventing the object from listing properly, but it could be that Archicad does not like parameters without descriptions.

The parameter was neither locked nor hidden -- I tried adding text on a lark -- learn something new every day...
