Importing a schedule template

Someone has asked me to see if I can get a door to display correctly in his door schedule. He sent me a .xml file of the schedule format, but I can't figure out how to load it into a project to check the schedule out.

Can someone help, please?
cheers

What about once you customize a schedule and you want to use it in other projects - how is that done exactly?

Thanks.
