Importing old 8.0 ArchiCAD proyect to 12 version

Anonymous
Not applicable
I had some old ArchiCAD 8.0 proyects on my computer.
I'm trying ArchiCAD 12 now, and it seems it cannot open the old 8.0 proyects.
I don't see any option for import or something similar.
The program just says:
"Cannot read old document version (8.0)".

But now what?
Should be an import option..... right?

Open the version 8 file in AC10 or AC11, save it and open that file in AC12.

Here is a link with some related info:

which will open files all the way from version 4.1 apparently!

(This was discussed here, if it's any use to anyone.)
