However, there is an issue in terms of data exchange between different software's. Therefore, it is essential to address the issue. In this research, I deeply observe the problems in software interoperability by secondary research and conducting an online survey by asking the BIM software users questions.

The questionnaire survey is part of my BSc. (Hons) in BIM, dissertation project, ''To what degree can Building Information Modelling (BIM) Interoperate successfully in the design stage of a collaboration project?'', at the Technology University Dublin (TUDublin), Ireland. The survey's main objective is to identify the interoperable issue during data exchange between different BIM software and the importance of Open BIM standards (IFC).

Your participation in this survey is earnestly requested to obtain meaningful results. The information you provide will be kept in strict confidence and used only for academic purposes. The survey may disclose only summary results.

I am keen to request you to fill the survey. It will help me develop, analyse and compare my result with your opinion. The survey contains 2 sections in a total of 10 multiple choice questions, which wouldn't take more than 2 minutes of your time.
