Hi,
We're working with a MEP consultant that is using our dwgs+IFC. They experience that dwg from Archicad lately make panning and zooming in revit (and acad) slow and jerky. They have noticed this in several projects when the architect is using Archicad (revit-generated dwgs work much better). The MEP-guy thinks it has to to with text elements. However when they look at the text properties they look exactly the same as those the MEP is using.
Anyone that have a clue/idea/solution?
Br,
Mats

Perhaps the fills?
Vectorial Fills works well with dwg when symbol fills works well with PDF, but the inverse is not true.

saw this post by the Enzyme team as their response to the problem. Looked relevant to your question. I need to look at this further.

Hmmm...should we have to do this ourselves? I'll ask GS.
Our Pythoners and Grasshoppers are developing edgy things...;)
I'll investigat what versions af Archicad that caused this because it's a fairly new issue.

Did you figure out which version of Archicad it is that causes the problem?
