I keep getting a randomly occurring error in Plotmaker where my PDF plan sets fail to print and it’s been pretty devastating timewise because all I do is PDF printing.
Here's what I do:
1. I create a new view set under publisher
2. I then create a folder and name it to place all of my pages I want to print into
3. I then drag all of the pages I want to print into that folder
4. I highlight all of those pages and choose the PDF format
5. I then click on the folder and tell the print to "merge PDF's into a single file"
6. I then hit "Publish
The pages seem to print and when it gets to the last page, it says that page failed and none of the set is created as a PDF as a result.
I've tried deleting that page only to have the new last page now give the failed message. I've also tried to highlight all the pages individually and told publisher to print the "selected items". This fails too.
No matter what I do I can’t get the publisher to print as a single file (this is not entirely true, sometimes it does it no problem and other times it doesn’t. Just last night I print a whole set and found a problem and then reprinted it only to get the error message and then I was never able to get a set to print again).
I’ve tried deleting the view set and creating a new one, I've restarted Archicad, I've restarted my computer, and none of this has worked.
The only way I have been able to get my set to print is to go to the Tree by subset" view, control click on each page I want to print and then printed all of these as a PDF. This has worked.
Also, the few times I've been able to get my single PDF file to print, the bookmarks that are created never work.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Printing PDF plans is essential to what I do and I am currently stymied.
