License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hello all I'm new to Archicad, mainly used autocad in the past, silly question.

How do i find the perimeter length of an object, be it a series of polylines or arc, or even a fill. I know how to find the area and volume of objects but a simple 2d length

I like the Element Information palette.

Open it under Windows > Floating Palettes > Show Element Information.

This palette will show you information about whatever elements you select.

There are several buttons along the top of it. Press them to show/hide information about your selected elements, like perimeter, area, etc.

You can also use Calculation and Interactive scheduling, should your lines and fills represent buildings on a site plan, roads, etc ...
