Possible integration with Rayon

I just discovered a very interesting software called Rayon. https://www.rayon.design/

I really like its concept of simplicity for creating 2D drawings. Its ability to control transparencies, line weights, colors, and hatches dynamically for quick plan presentations makes it an extremely fast software.

I think it would be interesting to apply some of these concepts to Archicad or at least have a plugin connection that allows us to take our plan presentations a step further.

To me, Rayon is an intermediate step between a 2D CAD software and Illustrator—a hybrid that enhances plan presentations and should definitely be considered for future concepts that could be applied to Archicad.

Yes, it is a very neat program by French developers, and it can create beautiful architectural drawings. 2D only, though, as far as I saw.

I think it is currently possible to exchange data between Archicad and Rayon, as it can import DWG/DXF and PDF files, and image files as well. So, you can publish floor plans, sections, etc., from Archicad and import them into Rayon to continue working on them. I have not tried this, but it seems to be a viable workflow for now.

It is as you say, it is only for 2d, but it has a lot of potential, I think it would be interesting to be inspired by some concepts, especially the dynamic control of transparencies in archicad. It is clear that we can import dwg or pdf files in Rayon, but it would be interesting to look for some kind of direct connection.

What is the point of exporting 2d from Archicad to continue working in another platform?Is there something that cannot be done in Archicad ?This is not a BIM workflow.

This is only the second post from the OP in over 5 years since joining... so this seems like someone trying to advertise Rayon...vs a serious Archicad user?  As Botonis says, this is not a BIM workflow...

Yes, it is true, it is not a BIM workflow. To me, this would be closer to a "visualization workflow" than a BIM workflow. Just as we export 3D to visualization applications like Twinmotion, Enscape, etc., or Piranesi a long time ago (which was all about beautiful and artistic architectural visualization styles), some architects may want to create very visually appealing 2D documentation and therefore use both programs. Just my 2 cents.

It's obviously not a BIM workflow, and I'm not saying that you can't do documentation with Archicad. I am simply saying that in some aspects it is a bit more difficult to reach the same solution with archicad. I see it as more dynamic to be able to create the presentation plans in that software. My wish is to follow in archicad all my workflow and enhance it in other software if it is necessary or the tool I use does not reach the quality I need. I am not saying that archicad is not my choice as a BIM software.

It is clear that I have published few posts, but I have been working with Archicad for many years, since version 18 and with license since version 21. I don't think I'm new in the BIM world. Anyway, I was just trying to make known a beautiful software that I think is simple but efficient, compared to other options such as AutoCAD.
As an architect, Archicad is my favourite software, but I understand that a BIM software also has to take care of the details of the architectural presentation. With Archicad I can go a long way but in some areas I need to see where it can be improved.
That's why I have given my opinion about some implementations that could be given in archicad to enhance even more this wonderful software.

ArchiCAD for presentation plans is painful, especially with the lack of proper transparency...

Think's archicad/graphisoft could do more for 2D drawings. Don't get me wrong i love archicad and get really good results with drawings and stuff but since i've start with this software and getting new versions i'd not see significant enhancements in this areas that what matters for architects at end days (good drawings).
