QuickDisplay

There was this invaluable addon Quickdisplay I was using on AC9.
I copied it over to AC10 into the Addon Extras folder, but it doesn't show up in any of the menus. Does anyone know where I should put it?

What makes you think it would even work with AC 10?

How you check if an Add-On is suitable is in the AddOns manager - it will warn you if the Add On is outdated.

I think that was and Add-On that Karl had written. As you will notice in 10, the items that quick display controlled are now in different menus and work in a similar fashion as quick display. All of these toggles can now also be assigned a quick key which in my opinion was one of the true benefits of quick display. I would not expect that Karl will update this because of the changed interface in 10. Look in the view menu, "on screen view options".

yes - graphisoft have given us those commands on the primary user interface now, so there is no need of an add-on to do the same. you will need to make your own toolbar/menu/shortcuts using the work environment . . .

In portugal we say 'quem não chora não mama', which amounts to the same, without baby

Translation in english would be, afaik, 'the squeaking wheel gets the grease'

Amazing the stuff you learn here at the Architalk.
