The app store just published an app for the iphone (or ipod touch).
Apparently it allows you to view any ArchiCAD generated model through your Iphone. Ill try to post a review later.

Shake 'n bake. I like that.

At least you can put (for real!) a lot (all) plans of your project as PDFs on the iPhone with some App-Store-Programs (DataCase, Air Sharing or FileMagnet) and view them on your phone.

(Apple think, we mail the PDFs to our self to view them on the iPhone...)

I use FileMagnet (payed) and AirSharing (unpaid) for that. These are real apps that allow you to transfer files from pc/mac to iphone and vice versa through Wifi.

Still, you have to be careful with the size of the pdf, otherwise the iphone viewer boggs down.

I just came across this interesting little app for the iPhone and although it's not ArchiCAD it is impressive to see that it is possible to achieve.

Seems this wasn't so far off as I thought. Now, even better, there is the possibility to work in Archicad using the iPhone! This "thin client" program for the iPhone could make that happen... or not?

And while we wait for the Iphone Archicad viewer app, here comes one for Revit:

Which is kind of sad, considering Revit only runs on Windows and ArchiCad also runs on Mac.

Oh well...

DataCase (paid) is another good one.

I tried AirSharing a while back but think it had some problems, might have to give it another look.

Sad indeed. There has to be a point Apples market share makes it worthwhile for Autodesk to develop Mac-native apps, but what is it. Business is still extremely Windows-centric but small business/home growth for Apple is incredibly strong at the moment and at some point that is going to begin to have an effect on business.

Me too. But those only allow you to view certain type of files. This app proposes to be a 3d navigator.
